The Waikato Wellbeing Project is proud to introduce Te Ara Poutama, a digital library aimed at equipping individuals and communities with the essential knowledge needed for making informed decisions that positively impact their lives.
Developed with support from Trust Waikato, Te Ara Poutama embodies the mission of the Waikato Wellbeing Project: to transform lives through meaningful initiatives. This innovative digital library represents a significant stride towards realising this vision.
Join the Waikato Wellbeing Project in a live webinar on Wednesday 18 October at 10am for a live demonstration and orientation of Te Ara Poutama as well as time for a Q&A with project Director Harvey Brookes.

Our Goal: Waikato people, at all levels, are empowered to make important choices wisely for their present and future wellbeing. In Te Ara Poutama, we see not only a reservoir of knowledge but a guiding compass, steering individuals and communities towards greater wellbeing. Te Ara Poutama:
· Enables people groups, and communities to develop and apply their own definition of wellbeing.
· Builds and shares understandings and insights into wellbeing and how to maintain and improve it.
· Features both quantitative and qualitative knowledge recognising that insights are not always supported by quantitative data.
The portal features contributions from any local, regional and national organisations including local and central government, sector lead organisations, data experts and analysts. Te Ara Poutama is not a static repository; it's a living, growing resource. And we invite organisations and individuals to become part of this initiative- if your organisation possesses data, research, or knowledge that could enrich Te Ara Poutama and contribute to the broader understanding of wellbeing, we encourage you to get in touch with us.
