Ihirangaranga – Te Hua o Koanga: The Elixir of Spring

Saturday 19th October - 5pm @ The Meteor

Welcome the energy of Koanga (Spring) with the next iteration of Ihirangaranga, titled:  “Ngā Hua o Koanga: The Elixir of Spring“, where sounds and visuals will captivate and transport you to an experience you will not forget.   Recently returned from showcasing at FESTPAC in Hawaii, taonga puoro specialist Horomona Horo and Performance Speed-Painter Regan Balzer, combine their creative talents once again with the music of Dr Jeremy Mayall and the passionately crafted words of Michael Moore, to present a unique and intuitive collaborative performance for one night only.

Where Our Shadows Meet

Saturday 26th October - 7pm @ Gallagher Academy of Performing Arts, Playhouse

Where Our Shadows Meet is an intergenerational story about love, loss and language, told with physical storytelling, live instrumental music, New Zealand Sign Language, and spoken English. This piece is performed by a Deaf and hearing cast and designed to be accessible for d/Deaf and hearing audiences.

Described as: "an exquisitely engaging, insightful and heartfelt production that, in keeping with the Equal Voices kaupapa, balances NZSL and spoken English." 

This will be a special showing of this beautiful performance - for one night only in Hamilton.
