Our work in the kai (SDG 1,2) space has been ongoing for more than 2 years and several major pieces of work are current underway (see below). When our previous Kai Challenge Lead Amber Hammill moved into her new role at Te Whau Ora, we decided to explore other recruitment options that could create more lasting impact and opportunity.
In partnership with WWP Manu Taki and GoEco CE Jo Wrigley, we are pleased to announce a new and exciting partnership for the Waikato Kai Challenge. We will jointly recruit a new Waikato Kai Challenge lead, who will work from the Go Eco hub as part of the Go Eco team. As part of the agreement, the WWP will contribute substantially towards the remuneration of the new Kai Challenge Lead for the first eight months. The WWP will also transfer all the results of our kai research projects, and, working jointly with the WWP, the successful candidate will lead the programme in the future. The role will be a permanent, 32-hour/week role and is advertised here: Kai Challenge Lead
