Te Ara Poutama Lead

Quanita recently joined the Waikato Wellbeing Project as the Te Ara Poutama Lead, bringing an impressive array of skills and knowledge. Holding a Master’s degree in Economic Policy and Development from the University of York, along with postgraduate certificates in Sustainability Economics from the University of Cambridge and Data Science from the London School of Economics, Quanita is exceptionally equipped for her role.

With over 15 years of leadership experience in community-driven development, policy implementation, and partnership cultivation, Quanita has previously contributed to the World Bank, United Nations, Auckland Council, and MBIE. Her experience makes her well-suited to lead initiatives that align local development with global sustainability standards.

Quanita is passionate about creating positive, systemic change in communities, and she brings both a global perspective and a personal dedication to improving local outcomes in the Waikato.
